A decadent, winter-themed dessert cocktail that features bourbon, bittersweet herbal liqueur, and rich Licor 43.
INGREDIENTS
2 oz Bourbon Bottled-in-Bond
¾ oz Licor 43
½ oz China-China (Cynar or Amaro Averna also work)
3-4 dashes Aromatic bitters
Creme Brûlée Whipped Cream
3 parts heavy cream
1 part Creme Brûlée Licor 43
Coarse sea salt
TOOLS + GLASSWARE
Mixing Glass
Bar Spoon
Frother
Strainer
Chilled Coupe or Nick & Nora
PREPARATION
Combine cocktail ingredients and stir with ice.
Strain into a stemmed glass, careful not to fill to the rim.
Take a bar spoon and carefully pour the cream on top in a thin layer (¼ inch thick is ideal).
Add a pinch of sea salt to the surface of the cream and enjoy.
